In order to study the effect of adiministration per oral and aqua-acupuncture with Ojucksan extract granule on the pain, induced the pain by acetic acid method and hot plate method in mouse, administration per oral and aqua-acupuncture in the corresponding Loci of the Chung-Wan(CV_(12)) and Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) with Ojucksan extract granule, according to the density of the granule and to the locus of aqua-acupuncture, then the frequency of writhing syndrome, paw licking time and escape time was measured, the following results have been obtained:
1. Adiministration per oral to the density of the Ojucksan extract granule, writhing syndrome showed a significant inhibition in 0.1, 0.3 and l㎎/g of granule, showed the most inhibitive effect in l㎎/g among others.
2. Adiministration per oral to the density of the Ojucksan extract granule, paw licking time and escape time showed a significant prolongation 0.3 and 1㎎/g of granule, showed the most significant prolongation in 1㎎/g.
3. The aqua-acupuncture to the density of the Ojucksan extract granule, writhing syndrome showed a significant inhibition in 0.01 and 0.1㎎/g, showed the most significant inhibition in 0.1㎎/g, but 0.001㎎/g group had the insignificant inhibition.
4. The inhibitive effect of the aqua-acupuncture experimented by Ojucksan extract granule was intensified by applying to various loci, Chung-Wan(CV_(12)) group, Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) group, Chung-Wan and Chok-Samni group and random locus group of abdomen had the significant inhibition, the aqua-acupuncture of Chung-Wan(CV_(12)) and Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) group showed a significant inhibitive effect among others, but random locus group of lower limb had the significant inhibition.
5. The aqua-acupuncture to the loci by Ojucksan extract granule, pawlicking time and escape time on Chung-Wan(CV_(12)), Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) and Chung-Wan and Chok-Samni group had the significant prolongation, the Chung-Wan Chok-Samni group showed the most significant prolongation, but random locus group of abdomen and random locus group of lower limb had the insignificant prolongation
According to the above results, it is concluded that the aqua-acupuncture group of Chung-Wan(CV_(12)) and Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) at the same time had the most significant effect on the pain, adiministration per oral group, Chung-Wan(CV_(12)) group and Chok-Samni(ST_(36)) had the significant effect on the pain.
